Welcome to GMCKidz!
We worship the Lord together each week through the Bible lesson, song, prayer and more! Everyone up to age 10 is welcome and we look forward to new faces! The babies and parents have a nursery available where they can rest and enjoy the sermon. Toddlers are asked to be accompanied by parental supervision but are welcome to join Sunday school. Just come meet us at the back of the sanctuary after the offering.
Our Vision:
Is to Reach and Teach God's Children.
It is such a privilege to be a small part of your child(ren)'s spiritual growth and eternal future.
I pray that as we reach GMC children with the gospel and teach them in the way of the Lord, that they will mature into confident disciples of Jesus Christ.
By God's grace I pray that our children will be history makers!
Our Curriculum:
Since last fall, we have been using a new curriculum entitled My Great Big God from Gospel Light Ministries. It is a 52‐week survey of the bible, which we will continue to follow for a full year. This curriculum is for pre-school and kindergarten. We are looking into a curriculum for the older children up to age 8 (for now), and look forward to seeing more families join us!
Week by week:
Each week the children encounter God through a story in the bible as well as crafts, worship, prayer, and activities. We have made copies of the worship CD so that your children can worship God with these songs all week long.
Every week there is a memory verse and key idea to go along with the lesson. With the schedule for Sunday School included and the hand-outs provided weekly, we are hoping that you will bring the lesson to life outside of the class time.
As we continue to grow this ministry we are encouraging the teachers and helpers to build relationships with the families and be involved in the lives of the children outside of the lesson time.
GMC observes Holy Communion the first Sunday of every month, and we have decided to keep the children in the class and specifically share the gospel with the children during that extra time.
Nursery and the Basement:
The basement is finished and we are now using it for the Sunday School lesson. The nursery has been arranged for the new mothers and young children.
Please bring feedback and ideas so that we can make these experiences even more fruitful!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to talk to me.
